To remedy the smog, the Lahore High Court has ordered that all schools and colleges in the provincial capital be closed till June 18 and also to work online two days a week.
In a few days, the smog and environmental pollution in the provincial capital, Lahore, and its surroundings have increased to a hazardous level for humans. For which the Provincial Minister for Environment has ordered to limit public transport. Apart from this, the Lahore High Court has proposed to the government to work online, which will be implemented from Wednesday.

Causes Of Smog
The smog ended incredibly after the heavy rain in Lahore and its surroundings last Friday, so Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi lifted the lockdown. But after that, on Monday, after heavy traffic and air pollution brought by India, Lahore has again become the most polluted city in the world.
Due to this, the air quality index has become very bad. Due to this, the citizens of Lahore and its surrounding areas are suffering from serious diseases.

Prevention For Smog
To control air pollution and smog, the Lahore High Court has decided to make the Punjab government work from home and children’s schools online. So that public transport and vehicles can be used to a minimum and the chances of smog can reduced.
The Lahore High Court has also ordered the seal factories to spread pollution and seal unnecessary brick kilns. So that the smog can be minimized and the environment can made favourable for people
Announcement of Judicial Order Implementation
In the recently held meeting, the Punjab government has decided to bring work from home and schools online from Wednesday, following the court orders. A holiday period has agreed in all educational institutions across Punjab till November 18.
Justice Jawad Hassan of Lahore High Court has expressed regret and said that it has become difficult to live in Lahore due to smog. If environmental laws were follow earlier, we would not face pollution.
