The IELTS fee in Pakistan varies based on the test type and format:

  1. IELTS Academic and General Training:
    • Paper-based: PKR 62,200
    • Computer-based: PKR 55,900
  2. IELTS for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI):
    • PKR 63,700 for both paper-based and computer-based tests.
  3. IELTS Life Skills:
    • A1 and B1 tests cost PKR 47,300.

These fees are applicable as of 2024 and may vary slightly depending on the location and administration center (e.g., British Council or AEO). It is advisable to confirm the fees with your chosen testing center before registration

You will take the listening, reading, and writing tests on the same day with no breaks in between, so it is important to practice in these situations. When taking the test, remember that each test is presented on multiple web pages. Make sure you answer all the questions and complete the tasks on each page in the correct order.

There are four modules of IELTS.

  1. Listening
  2. Reading
  3. Writing
  4. Speaking

IELTS Practice Test

Free Online IELTS Listening Practice

The IELTS Listening test will take approximately 30 minutes, and you will have an additional 10 minutes to transfer your answers to the answer sheet.

The four sections of this practice Listening test are presented on four separate web pages. Make sure you move quickly from page to page to make your practice as realistic as possible.

Download the question paper and blank answer sheet before you start, and write your answers on the question paper as you listen. Use a pencil.

Listen carefully to the instructions for each part of the test. Answer all the questions. There are 40 questions in total. Each question carries one mark.

For each section of the test, there will be time for you to look at the questions and time for you to check your answers. After completing all four parts of the listening test, you will have ten minutes to copy your answers onto a separate answer sheet.

We may make special arrangements for examinees with disabilities. For example, if you need a modified version of the test in Braille, contact your test center three months in advance to discuss your needs.

Free online IELTS Speaking Practice

In the speaking test, you will converse with a certified examiner. It will be interactive and as close to a real-life situation as a test can get.

The speaking test is 11-14 minutes long and consists of three parts.

Part 1 – You will answer questions about yourself and your family.

Part 2 – You will discuss a topic.

Part 3 – You will discuss the topic introduced in Part 2.

The speaking test is identical to the IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training tests.

How to Practice?

This practice material is designed for two people working together. Find a study partner to help you practice. Do the three parts of this interval test one after the other.

Remember that you need to speak fluently, clearly, and accurately. Say as much as possible and be spontaneous.
